Florida Institute for Child Welfare
In 2017, I designed a new logo for the Florida Institute for Child Welfare, which is housed at Florida State University.
The logo utilizes iconography for each of the four foundational pillar of the institute: Partnerships, Practice Research & Evaluation, Technical Assistance & Training, and Policy Analysis.
In addition to core black and white versions, I created two color schemes: one of which uses the colors consistent with Florida State University branding, which the Institute and its audience is accustomed to, and an alternate version that provides the Institute with a brand that is uniquely their own. This color scheme is particularly useful in joint ventures with other academic institutions in the state of Florida and/or efforts at the state level where FSU branding may be limiting.
To accompany the new logo, I revised and created new templates for Memorandum/letterhead, technical and research reports, journal article summaries and research briefs, as well as graphics for the Institute website, social media channels and email campaigns, including responsive mailings for desktop and mobile clients.
